A&I utilizes a complete suite of administrative tools integrated for health, pension, and general administration processing. Our administrative and claims systems are very flexible and allow plan setup to facilitate both efficient claim processing while meeting customized processing capabilities and reporting requirements. Our in-house Information Systems staff allows us to accommodate unique plan designs and provide custom reporting at a level not often found in many TPAs. We continue to reinvest in the systems and technologies we use to attain greater efficiencies and offer additional services for our clients.

In addition to our claims, administrative, financial and support computer systems we also utilize state of the art telephone systems routing through a T-1 pipeline and a web-based phone tracking system. These allow callers to be routed based on user selections and for random auditing of calls by supervisory staff for training and quality control purposes. All incoming calls from participants are tracked allowing our staff to enter call data, pend for follow-up, and report call activity by client, call type, and/or user.

A&I employs real-time virus scanning on all machines, as well as utilization of multi-level system security access, and a combination of various "hot spare" backup systems and uninterrupted power supplies. Our core applications run on Dell Poweredge, IBM, and Sun Microsystems servers.

Employees access our systems utilizing Dell Pentium 4 workstations running Windows XP Professional across a 100-megabit network infrastructure.

We also offer a custom client web site, specific to each of the plans we administer. These sites provide easy access for participants to basic plan information as well as a link to a secured system for looking up claim and payment history, deductible information, eligibility and out-of-pocket maximums, and more.

Providers - Submit Your Claims Electronically
In an effort to streamline claims processing and reduce claims payment turnaround times, A&I Benefit Plan Administrators can receive all medical, hospital and dental claims electronically. Our ability to process your claims in a timely fashion will be enhanced by allowing you to submit claims electronically through your clearinghouse using our Payer ID 93044.
