EMPLOYER OVERVIEW BROCHURE

A Section 125 Flexible Spending Account (FSA) can provide your employees a money saving benefit without dramatically increasing your employee benefit costs. In some cases, your tax savings on employee contributions (the amount of FICA taxes your company pays) will likely offset your plan costs. By allowing employees to pay for certain health care and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars, an FSA can also reduce your employees’ taxable income.

EMPLOYEE HEALTH CARE FSA OVERVIEW

A flexible spending account (FSA) provides the ability to pay for certain health-related expenses with pre-tax dollars, resulting in more take home pay for you. FSAs are designed to help employees pay for health care expenses that are not 100% covered or are ineligible for payment by health insurance plans. Sample medical care expenses may include deductibles, co-payments, amounts over the maximum the health plan pays, expenses for routine physicals and possibly other expenses not covered by your health insurance plan.

EMPLOYEE DEPENDENT CARE FSA OVERVIEW

A flexible spending account (FSA) provides the ability to pay for certain dependent related expenses with pre-tax dollars, resulting in more take home pay for you. A Dependent Care FSA is designed to help you pay for dependent care expenses for both children and the elderly, which you incur while in work or school. In many cases, using a Dependent Care FSA can be more advantageous than the federal tax credit.

CONSULTANT FSA OVERVIEW

Employers need the ability to provide options in their compensation packages. By adopting a Flexible Spending Account, employers can provide individual employees a benefit that saves both parties money. With an FSA, employees report less taxable income while employers pay less FICA taxes. It’s a win-win situation.
